Keith Gonsalves, Jamaican by birth, was a banker working as branch manager for Barclay’s Bank in Nassau when, in 1955, he was offered a position by Wallace Groves. He served in various positions within the Grand Bahama Port Authority, eventually being named chairman of the GBPA.
